Bôndy joins the Alamino circle: "Agora of landscapes and forests" initiated by INDRI

Bôndy is now one of the 41 people forming the Board of the Alamino initiative (the Agora of Landscapes and Forests) initiated by INDRI.

They are representative of the diversity of actors: civilian and military public authorities, NGOs, civil society, local community representatives, religions, the private sector, experts and financial partners.

This initiative aims at the national re-greening of Madagascar. To achieve this, the reflections are focused on
-restoring the fertility of our landscapes
-protecting forests and biodiversity
-fighting against poverty and the effects of global warming

Alamino's 4 work priorities for 2021 were decided at a meeting held in January 2021:

  • Fire fighting,
  • Better approach to land and territorial planning,
  • Education and awareness raising,
  • Reforestation.
