Max Fontaine to represent Madagascar at Youth4Climate summit: Driving ambition

From 28 to 30 September 2021, the summit will be held in Milan Youth4Climate: Driving ambition. Max Fontaine, founder of B么ndy, will represent Madagascar 馃嚥馃嚞 at these discussions serving to prepare the COP 26. The leadership he and the B么ndy team have shown in reforesting Madagascar, as well as the mobilization of citizens through the participation of more than 1,880 volunteers in reforestation activities, will allow him to carry the voices of Malagasy youth high.

The summit, organised by the United Nations, the World Bank and the Italian government, will bring together young people engaged in climate action from all over the world. The aim of the meeting will be to give youth a voice in the international negotiations at COP 26.

Several ministers, representatives of UN bodies as well as several key players in the fight against climate change will be present to hear the concerns, ideas and visions that these young people have for the sustainable development of their countries and societies.聽
