DNA Carbon 0 Junior
ADN Carbone 0 is the new connected and eco-citizen school exchange programme of the AEFE network.
ADN Carbone 0 is a school exchange programme run by the network of French high schools around the world (AEFE) that does not require students to travel. Its principle is to bring together teachers and their classes from schools in the French education network abroad to develop and build a joint educational project.
The aim of this programme is educational and intercultural: the pupils and their teacher will discover another class and work on the creation of joint productions at a distance. The programme is also eco-citizen. Indeed, ADN Carbone 0 invites the participating classes to reflect and mobilise on eco-citizen actions related to the reduction of carbon emissions.
Following the success of the ADN Carbone 0 program in the third grade, the program is proposed in 2023-2024, in cycle 3, for the classes of CM1 and/or CM2. From May 16 to 20, 2023, an ADN Carbone 0 week will be organized in the schools participating in the two programs in order to raise awareness/educate on sustainable development and mobilize the educational community for the implementation of eco-citizen actions.
