CDN 3.0: Commitment to the definition of Madagascar's climate ambitions

On 11 and 12 March, Bôndy participated in the national consultation workshop for the development of CDN3.0. The consultation, organized by the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development (MEDD), brought together multiple actors, including sectoral ministries, local authorities, the private sector, research institutions, civil society organizations, civil society organizations, as well as representatives of young people and women.

The objective was to define ambitious and realistic climate commitments in an inclusive and participatory manner to strengthen the country's resilience in the face of its extreme vulnerability. Being a signatory of the Paris Agreement, Madagascar is required to update its commitments every five years to fight global warming.

Madagascar is considered to be one of the most vulnerable countries to climate change. Through its projects and proposed solutions, Bôndy aims to contribute to mitigation and adaptation.
