An alliance at the service of biodiversity and local economic development. In this continuity, Bôndy signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Foundation for Protected Areas and Biodiversity of Madagascar (FAPBM) and Baobab Bank Madagascar. This agreement aims to support local economic initiatives that promote biodiversity.

On the occasion of Mois B Corp (Bmonth), celebrated in March, Bôndy wanted to highlight the importance given to its employees, at the heart of its daily commitment.

Ma Honko is a project that aims to restore 40,000 hectares of degraded mangrove areas in four regions of Madagascar, namely Diana, Sofia, Melaky and Boeny. The project is based on the planting of native species, in collaboration with local communities.

The role of the Governance Manager at Bôndy is to act as an expert and leader to ensure sustainable mangrove restoration by involving local communities in solid governance systems, with strategic priority on the Ma Honko project.

As part of the Varuna Program, a follow-up mission took place in Analalava to assess the first year of the native seed bank project. Led by Bôndy, Opti’pousse Haie, and Vahatra, the initiative aims to restore local ecosystems through an ecological and community-based approach.
