This season, several companies have transformed their CSR commitments into concrete actions in the Highlands, in Boeny, Ambanja and Toamasina. A look back at a collective dynamic that is gaining momentum.

Transforming CSR commitments into concrete restoration actions. This 2025-2026 season, several companies have chosen to anchor their CSR commitments in concrete actions to restore ecosystems in Madagascar.

Through their activities, these actors have contributed to the deployment of projects in four main areas of intervention: the Highlands, the Boeny region, Ambanja and Toamasina, territories where environmental and social challenges are particularly strong.

Beyond planting, these commitments make it possible to support our farmers and partner communities, to strengthen food security through more productive and diversified agroforestry plots, to improve rural incomes, by valuing the land and integrating value-added crops, to sustainably restore soils and ecosystems, to sustainably restore soils and ecosystems, to cope with the effects of climate change, and to support local employment, from nursery production to planting and monitoring activities.

Together, we are building a common vision:

That of an economy where business activities participate directly in the regeneration of ecosystems and the development of territories.

The reforestation season ends with the end of the rainy season for 2025-2026.

We thank our partners and their team: Spoon Consulting, TP, Tamàna Company, Initiatives, SBM, DEMAD, CFAO, AROMATUM, Made in Mada, Madafocus, GoOcean and GoForest, for renewing their trust for this year.

Sustainable supply chains, supported by our partners

Beyond the Restoration of Ecosystems, We Develop and Support sustainable supply chains within our areas of intervention, in close collaboration with our partners.

Some contribute directly to the deployment of activities in the field, others trust us to support them in structuring responsible and traceable value chains. Thanks to those who make these courses possible

Our Contributing partners, which concretely supports the development of income-generating activities in our catering areas:

  • As part of its environmental responsibility initiative in Madagascar, YAS Madagascar has launched an ambitious partnership dedicated to restoring dry forests in the southern part of the country. This program focuses on the Menabe and Atsimo Andrefana regions, two areas particularly vulnerable to ecological degradation. Beyond reforestation, the project places a high priority on local biodiversity by focusing on native species. These trees, perfectly adapted to the climatic and ecological conditions of the target areas, strengthen ecosystem resilience and encourage the return of wildlife and the natural balance inherent to these dry forests. Implemented in collaboration with the DREDD, a technical operator specializing in landscape restoration and sustainable agricultural models, and local community-based organizations (COBA), this project follows an integrated approach that combines ecological preservation with community involvement.
  • CMA CGM, for its commitment to the Landibe sector (wild mangrove silk).
This partnership made it possible to support 60 women artisans in collecting, spinning and weaving, while structuring the sector and strengthening knowledge on this resource (work carried out with the University of Antananarivo), in collaboration with local technical partners.

  • BRED Banque Populaire, for its support for the restoration of mangroves and the development of beekeeping.
By contributing to the marketing of mangrove honey, this partnership makes it possible to secure outlets for beekeepers and to consolidate the economic viability of the sector.

Les Partners We Support, committed alongside us to the structuring of sustainable sectors:

  • Made For A Woman, for the development of a regenerative raffia sector in Diego. The support aims to structure the sustainable exploitation of this endemic resource, which is currently in high demand, by laying the foundations of a balanced sector between the preservation of ecosystems and local economic opportunities.

  • Givaudan, for the work undertaken on the structuring and traceability of the clove sector in Fénérive Est. The objective is to strengthen the organization of producers and to improve the quality and valuation of products, in line with market standards.

  • Planète Urgence, as part of the MOSOTRY project in the Sofia region.
This project supports beekeepers towards sustainable practices, in connection with the preservation of mangroves, while developing additional sources of income for local communities.

Through these collaborations, the same dynamic: Promote the emergence of structured local sectors, which generate sustainable incomes while maintaining ecosystems.

Beyond reforestation, we are structuring sustainable sectors to combine the protection of biodiversity and the development of local communities. Thanks to our strategic partners who support us in these adventures:

  • The CMA CGM for the Landibe (Mangrove Silk) sector:
This unique project at the intersection of the Boeny and Sofia regions values wild silk from mangroves. It is a powerful lever for the empowerment of women and the preservation of the coastline.

  • Made 4 a Woman for the regenerative raffia sector. Implemented in Diego, this support aims to structure a raffia sector that respects natural cycles, from the initial diagnosis to the test collection phases.

  • Planète Urgence and BRED Banque Poplière for their support by buying 1,500 jars of honey. Through the MOSOTRY project in the Sofia region, Bôndy supports beneficiaries towards sustainable beekeeping.

  • GIVAUDAN for the clove sector. On the Fénérive Est side, we are working on the traceability and structuring of clove leaf producer communities, with the aim of achieving excellence in international certification standards.
