In this continuity, Bôndy signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Foundation for Protected Areas and Biodiversity of Madagascar (FAPBM) and Baobab Bank Madagascar. This agreement aims to support local economic initiatives that promote biodiversity.

In this continuity, Bôndy signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Foundation for Protected Areas and Biodiversity of Madagascar (FAPBM) and Baobab Bank Madagascar. This agreement aims to support local economic initiatives that promote biodiversity.

Represented by Gabriel Tasso at the signing, Bôndy will bring its operational expertise in four priority areas of intervention:

  • Reforestation and community ecosystem restoration
  • Structuring sustainable agricultural and forest sectors
  • Energy solutions and clean cooking to reduce dependence on wood
  • Climate resilience pilot projects for households

The energy component deserves particular attention: clean cooking solutions aim to simultaneously reduce deforestation, indoor air pollution and the daily burden on households, especially for women. By reducing the consumption of wood and coal, they constitute a concrete lever for energy transition at the community level.
