Bôndy is a group of impact companies, a pioneer in the development of solutions based on nature in Madagascar. The organization is structured around three complementary pillars:
1. Carbon: development of carbon credit projects (mangroves, agroforestry reforestation, clean cooking solutions).
2. Advice and catering: support for companies in their sustainability strategies and the implementation of environmental and social projects.
3. Sectors: development and structuring of sustainable agricultural and rural value chains (beekeeping, coffee, bamboo, raffia, silk).
Several sectors in the process of being structured, in particular:
- Apiculture, through the Compagnie du Miel.
- Coffee, agroforestry and quality-oriented approach.
- Bamboo, sustainable materials and landscape restoration.
- Raffia, natural fibers and crafts.
- Silk, strong potential for economic valorization and integration into rural value chains.
The challenge is to structure, professionalize and scale up these sectors, while identifying new rural economic opportunities.
Purpose of the position
The Director of the Supply Chain Department is responsible for structuring, developing and scaling up the agricultural and rural sectors in Bôndy. The position combines strategic vision, business development and operational structuring of sectors.
Main mission of the position
Structure, develop and scale up the agricultural and rural sectors of Bôndy, by combining strategic vision, business development and operational structuring, by:
- Accelerating existing sectors (beekeeping, coffee, coffee, bamboo, raffia, silk),
- Developing new rural sectors and opportunities,
- Ensuring transversality and synergies between departments (Carbon, Consulting, Commercial),
Key responsibilities
Acceleration of existing sectors
- Structure and professionalize the courses already developed by Bôndy.
- Strengthen existing value chains (production, processing, marketing).
- Structure partnerships with producers, cooperatives and processors.
Structuring value chains
- Organize production and sourcing systems.
- Establish quality and traceability standards.
- Develop sustainable economic models for each sector.
Business Development Support
- Provide strategic support to the group's subsidiary companies in the development of their markets, in synergy with other departments.
- Contribute to the identification of new markets and market opportunities.
Development of new sectors
- Identify new opportunities in agricultural or rural sectors.
- Develop and test pilot projects, structure new value chains.
Transversality and inter-department synergies
- Work closely with the Carbon, Consulting and Sales Departments to integrate the sector approach into their strategies.
- Contribute to the sector approach being integrated into the carbon model and into the group's CSR commercial offers.
Expected results
- Structure and strengthen existing sectors in Bôndy.
- Increase the volumes and value of productions, develop solid commercial partnerships.
- Generate new rural economic opportunities.
- Integrate the sector approach into the thinking of other departments and the carbon model.
Profile wanted
Formation
Higher education in agronomy, agricultural economics, rural development or agribusiness.
Experiment
Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in agricultural sector development, agribusiness, value chain structuring or rural development.
Experience in African or tropical contexts highly desired.
Key skills
- Strategic vision and entrepreneurial spirit.

- Sits on the Bôndy executive committee.
