Bôndy is a group of impact companies, a pioneer in the development of solutions based on nature in Madagascar. The organization is structured around three complementary pillars:
1. Carbon: development of carbon credit projects (mangroves, agroforestry reforestation, clean cooking solutions).
2. Advice and catering: support for companies in their sustainability strategies and the implementation of environmental and social projects.
3. Sectors: development and structuring of sustainable agricultural and rural value chains (beekeeping, coffee, bamboo, raffia, silk).
Main mission of the department
The DSI department is responsible for structuring, integrating and managing Bôndy's technological data and systems in order to allow rigorous monitoring and accurate mapping of the environmental, social and economic impacts of the company's projects. It must ensure the harmonization of existing tools (ERP, TreePlotting tool, Kobo/ODK, GIS, drones, satellite images) and optimize data management.
Main mission of the position
The MEAL Manager (interim) ensures the monitoring, reliability and continuous improvement of Bôndy's management tools. He/she guarantees the quality of the data, produces actionable analyses and actively contributes to the deployment of the Monitoring, Reporting & Verification (MRV) system.
Key responsibilities
A. Data monitoring & quality
Maintain databases (plantations, nurseries, planters, socio-economic data) up to date in connection with field supervisors and regional coordinators.
B. Analysis & reporting
Respond to internal analysis requests — field data and KoboToolbox questionnaires — and report the results in a clear and usable manner.
C. Management tool (dashboard & ERP)
Take control of the internal management tool: correct anomalies, improve the reliability of the indicators and ensure consistency between the graphs and the source data.
D. Monitoring environmental impacts
Contribute to the deployment of the Bôndy impact measurement tool: tests, commissioning and documentation of progress.
Profile wanted
The position will be awarded to a person who meets the following criteria:
- Bac+5 in agronomy, rural development, environmental sciences, or any discipline with a specialization in monitoring and evaluation
- Confirmed experience (5 years minimum) in MEAL within agricultural, forestry or environmental programs
- Good command of field data collection tools (KoboToolbox, ODK or equivalent)
- Mastery of office tools (MS Excel, Google Sheets) for data processing and analysis; knowledge of visualization tools (Power BI, etc.) is an asset
- Ability to design and update logical frameworks, monitoring and evaluation plans and performance indicators
- Proven skills in quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and in synthetic feedback
- Ability to document MEAL systems and to strengthen the capacities of field teams
- Experience in monitoring environmental or agro-ecological indicators (survival rate, growth, vegetation cover, etc.)
- Fluency in Malagasy and French (spoken and written) is required. English will be an asset.

Specificities of the position:
- Duration of the service: 4 months
