In July 2026, Bôndy led a field initiative in Diego Suarez driven by the Bôndy Green Army (BGA) Sambirano, centered on the theme "Ocean & Mangroves."
A notable presence at the Sookany Trophy
Bôndy was a Gold Sponsor of the Sookany Trophy. For the event, two dhows sporting Ma Honko and Bôndy colors set off in the race. While the crews didn't take home the trophy, their presence on the water brought the Ma Honko project directly to the region's maritime communities.

Youth at the heart of the conversation
Alongside the race, 37 young people took part in the "Ocean & Mangroves" meetings held in the city. These discussions provided an opportunity to hear their perspectives on climate change and to explore its causes, effects, and the solutions within their reach.
This initiative extends the mission of the Bôndy Green Army: connecting new generations with coastal climate issues and involving them in protecting the coastline.

One step among many
Through this mobilization in Diego Suarez, Bôndy continues its work of local engagement, combining field presence with education to support the preservation of mangroves and the ocean. Stay tuned for upcoming field actions.
