Recognizing the environmental footprint associated with its activities, in particular maritime transport of its goods, AROMATUM is part of an approach to offsetting its carbon emissions.

With this in mind, AROMATUM has chosen Bôndy as a partner to implement concrete actions to restore landscapes in Toamasina, combining agroforestry, ecosystem restoration and support for local cash crop producers.

Through this partnership, the projects deployed aim to:

• restore ecosystems degraded by agroforestry,
• strengthen and diversify the incomes of partner farmers,
• contribute to the compensation of the carbon footprint linked to the export of AROMATUM products, by relying on solutions based on nature.

This partnership thus allows AROMATUM to pursue its sustainability commitments, while generating a positive environmental and social impact, directly beneficial to local communities in Madagascar.
