Beyond its commitment to the restoration of mangroves, RUSG supported a structuring initiative in the village of Maromiandra (Mahajanga, north-west of Madagascar), through the construction of a soccer field, which has become a real place for gathering, expression and cohesion for youth and the community.

Today, the local club has 3 women's teams and 6 men's teams, all ranked among the best in the town, a strong symbol of inclusion, emancipation and collective pride, widely worn and valued by the inhabitants of the village.

By strengthening local social dynamics and creating concrete opportunities for young people, the project promotes the sustainable adherence of communities, which find a direct benefit in these actions and are more involved in the protection of their environment.

Through this partnership, Bôndy aims to create economic opportunities and improve the living conditions of communities, in order to sustainably reduce the pressure exerted on ecosystems. Because protecting nature also involves investing in people and local dynamics.
