Launched from March 2023 to March 2026, the partnership between Bôndy and BRED Banque Popôle marks a key step in the development of our Cercle Vert program, as the first collaboration structured over three years.

This season, several companies have transformed their CSR commitments into concrete actions in the Highlands, in Boeny, Ambanja and Toamasina. A look back at a collective dynamic that is gaining momentum.

Although Anôsy is recognized for its rich biodiversity, the region faces strong environmental pressures. Recurrent droughts, deforestation and agricultural insecurity are weakening household livelihoods. It is to meet this challenge that the Talaky Be project was designed.

Ma Honko is a project that aims to restore 40,000 hectares of degraded mangrove areas in four regions of Madagascar, namely Diana, Sofia, Melaky and Boeny. The project is based on the planting of native species, in collaboration with local communities.

The role of the Governance Manager at Bôndy is to act as an expert and leader to ensure sustainable mangrove restoration by involving local communities in solid governance systems, with strategic priority on the Ma Honko project.

As part of the Varuna Program, a follow-up mission took place in Analalava to assess the first year of the native seed bank project. Led by Bôndy, Opti’pousse Haie, and Vahatra, the initiative aims to restore local ecosystems through an ecological and community-based approach.

Bôndy is taking a new step in its commitment by obtaining B Corp certification, an international label that distinguishes companies that meet the highest standards in terms of social, environmental performance, transparency and governance.

On February 3, 2025, Lake Mandroseza, a key element of the Ikopa dam, was at the heart of the national celebrations of World Wetlands Day. This event highlighted the importance of these ecosystems for sustainable water management and their role in the supply of drinking water to the Malagasy capital, Antananarivo.

The Bôndy Green Army recently celebrated International Volunteer Day with an exceptional workshop in Angavokely.
